My Jeep was purchased from a local resident that bought the Jeep because it was the year he graduated from high school. He owned it for 3 days before getting plastered and rolling it. I saw it for sale from I-5 for $1500. It had a 258 t19 and dana 300 t case. I purchased it and spent the next 6 months fixing it. It is now complete. I changed the color from Blue to Brown. "Big Brown One". I have since upgraded both axles with ARB and 4.88 gears. I have also swapped in an rebuilt AMC 304. I also added a Howel fuel injection as well. This works very well. I have also had to replace the fron Dana 30 with a Ford 9" from Currie Ent. I have done all of the rebuild work myself and my bother helps me out with the machanicals. Together we make a great Team. He owns a 1960-1979 CJ5. The frame and engine are from a 1979 and the body and tub are from a 1960. It works great for the amount of money spent $1500.
