About my CJ5

I have a 1981 Jeep CJ-5. Of course like every other project it started out to be just a daily run-about. I bought the jeep from an individual who had done a pretty good job with it thus far. The factory 304 V8 had been swapped out to a 360 V8,(almost stock) with good paint and clean wiring changover. After I purchased it i pulled into the shop one night to address a few concerns and so began the process that I hope is almost completed. Two years later it now has...

bigger camshaft with .30 over bore, edelbrock intake, carb, longtube headers, dui ignition, electric fan system

14 bolt rear axle with 5.13 and full yukon spool, disc brake conversion

dana 44 front with 5.13, detroit, yukon chromoly kit with yukon outer joints

cj 4" springs over axle with one leaf pulled for softer roll in front

custom 4 link in rear with tj 4" springs

wheelbase is now 96"

T-150 3 speed

dana 20 case

16x12 Mickey Thompson polished alloys with 38" boggers

on board air

Smittybuilt XRC  reclining suspension seats

RCI fuel cell 15 gallon

Smittybuilt XRC 8k winch

Custom front stinger

Custom rear tire carrier

Gen right tube fenders

Over all ive been very pleased with it so far and I would love to see it in your magazine. Im an avid reader and think you guys are doing a great job. I own a company called Auto Accessories Unlimited which is located in Ft. Smith, AR. and im always sure to keep copies in the waiting area. Thanks for the info you keep printing and look forward to future knowledge.
