This 1964 CJ5 was a father and son project that started in 2004 and was completed spring 2009. It is the original steel body. We built a stock 1976 231 Buick Odd-Fire V-6 and installed it using Novak mounts. It has a Offenhauser dual port manifold with a Holley 390 cfm carb. It has Holbrook long leaf asymmetfical springs. I built a custom 1.75" body lift. Total lift is 5 inches over stock. It has power steering using Herm's saginaw conversion, and a Herms' dual master cylinder upgrade. A set of Interco TSL "SS" 34 x 9.50 tires. Axles are stock 5.35:1, front Dana 27 with 10" drums, rear Dana two piece. Transmission is a T-98 with T-90 gears. Transfer case Dana model 18, twin stick. It was rewired using Painless wiring.
